Single-Boiler/Dual-Use

The Pro 800 features a massive 3.5L copper boiler for both steaming and brewing. The copper material helps with heat retention and has the flexibility to withstand the lever-operated action of the Pro 800.

PID Controller

In place of a pressurestat, the PID controller allows for long lasting reliability. It also makes it very easy to adjust boiler pressure/temperature without having to open the machine.

Direct Water Line Connection

No more refilling the water tank. Be sure to outfit the machine with a water filtration system such as a BWT system for better tasting shots and improved machine longevity.

Handmade & High-End Construction

The machine is housed in mirror-finished, stainless steel panels. It rests on a one-piece internal steel frame, which protects it from bending or bowing during shipping or as the result of continuous use. The updated edition includes handcrafted American walnut wood accents on the hand lever, lever valves, and portafilter handle.

After a bunch of research I landed here

I wanted a machine that was build like a tank that would last me decades.
I wanted the least possible things that could go wrong for longevity.
I wanted a consistent espresso shot as a base for all my coffee drinks with repeatability.
I wanted simplicity, once I have my coffee dialed in I was good with my setup.
I dial this is with grind size and pressure from the temperature setting. the higher the temperature the higher the starting pressure in the spring profile. Spring profile is pre-infuse, high pressure to lowering pressure towards the end of the shot. I enjoy this with a pared medium roast I get from the roaster 2 miles form my house, (I got lucky on that one).
The only thing I think this machine has for a downside is they don't have an inside cover for the water tank, I would love to see Grindersmart find someone to make an inside cover to sell to us through this website.
